Our experience was somewhat marred by a few issues. The room lacked thick curtains, which resulted in an excessively bright morning. While parking was available, it was off premises a short walk away, less than ideal. I found the temperature in the room quite warm at night despite the air conditioning was nice.

The location was super, close to a garden and interior living space, the centre of beautiful Amboise, and the river, in a quiet area. The staff were welcoming and nice and helpful with requests...

The top floor room was spacious and beautifully decorated, giving a sense of tranquility. The portable air conditioning was a nice touch, even if it was a bit loud. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Not just bread and spreads, but coffee, eggs, and a variety of options that satisfied. I enjoyed sitting in the beautiful outdoor area after a day of exploring. Parking was straightforward, right across the street. Though the second bedroom lacked thick curtains and let in morning light, I managed to sleep well. Erica's recommendations for local dining and activities were spot on. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Amboise, just be ready for some stairs.

Furnishings were average, lacking any standout features. The location felt off the main track, tucked away on a backstreet, which might make it a bit tricky for some guests. The second bedroom lacked effective light-blocking curtains, which resulted in early morning brightness, but it didn't seem to bother my teenager too much.

The outdoor area was perfect. We visited Mini-Chateaux Park and Caves du Pere Auguste, both of which were a blast! Erika, the host, gave us awesome tips for dining and activities. The breakfast was a real treat with fresh choices every morning.

One downside was early morning brightness due to the lack of thick curtains, a bit hard to sleep in.

It was just an optimal selection for a quick layover in Amboise with good value for money. I especially appreciated the charming outdoor area. Make sure to check the check-in time carefully before arriving.

We enjoyed four peaceful nights in a lovely double room with a terrace. The soft ambiance made it ideal for relaxation after exploring Amboise. Don't miss the good breakfast with fresh options! For parking, there's a convenient spot just across the street.

Stayed here overnight with my kids and we had a good time. the staff and owner were really nice and friendly. Our room was a good size, lovely, and super clean. 😊
